Each year FMA’s market-leading publication, The FABRICATOR^® magazine, ranks some of the most successful U.S. metal fabricating companies. The FAB 40 list is The FABRICATOR‘s attempt to provide an industry snapshot and reinforce that metal fabricating is a vital sector of the American manufacturing community.    

As you may have guessed, this year’s FAB 40 is a little different from past years. The FABRICATOR’s Senior Editor Tim Heston, winner of multiple national awards in the American Society of Business Publication Editors’ 2020 Azbee Awards of Excellence, explains how some metal fabricators are proving to be resilient during COVID-19 and declines in crucial sectors.
