Sessions
Opening Session: What’s Keeping You Up at Night – Safety and the Effect on Employee Engagement
Breakout Session A: Slitting Thin and Surface Critical Materials
Breakout Session A: Theory of Roller Leveling
Breakout Session B: Advanced Features of Modern Processing Equipment
Breakout Session B: Design, Construction, and Economics of Foundations for Processing Equipment
Breakout Session C: Identifying and Eliminating Bottlenecks in Slitting Operations
Every slitting line is only as efficient as its slowest process. Bottlenecks, whether caused by outdated equipment, inconsistent operator practices, or coil staging, create hidden costs in lost production time, labor, and overall throughput.
This discussion highlights key operational pain points that limit efficiency in coil slitting, from operator dependency and manual tooling setups to packaging and discharge delays. By standardizing practices, modernizing equipment, and improving material flow, operations can reduce downtime and unlock the line’s full potential.
Breakout Session C: Producing Flat Material That Stays Flat - Taking the Guesswork Out of the Leveling Process
Breakout Session C: The Secret to Producing Repeatable High Cut Quality While Meeting Today’s Processing Demands
